| Service Description: | My name is Sandra and I live in Driffield. I am married to Tim and we have two children Hollie and Ben. I have worked for social services for 20 years working with children and people with learning difficulties as well as fostering children for 10 years which I no longer do.
I have an NVQ in health and social care as well as lots of training with East Riding of Yorkshire Council which includes medication training, food and hygiene, fire training, Makaton, challenging behaviour, safeguarding and health and safety training.
Some of the activities I offer are out and about exploring the local area , going to the park, nature walks collecting things for art work, a large play room, soft play, as well as having a large garden to play on bikes, climbing frame, sand and water play and not forgetting baking. In good weather, trips to animal farms as well as the beach just to a name a few.
I believe that all children need to have a safe, stimulating as well as nurturing environment to help them to understand the world around them, which helps them to ask questions such as what, why and how people and things work. This in turn makes learning fun and allows children to grow at their own pace.
I offer flexible hours and will always work in partnership with all parents/ carers to give the best care possible to each and every child that is with me.
