As a professional childcare provider, my aim is to work in partnership with parents/ guardians to provide a warm, friendly, home environment with a family atmosphere in which your child can play, learn and develop. Your child will receive consistent one to one attention whilst enjoying interaction with others; sometimes which is much easier to achieve within a childminders setting than in a busy nursery.
I will strive to maintain an environment where mutual and self respect are encouraged, so that everyone feels valued. High standards of quality will be maintained and children will be urged towards independance while learning and playing in a nurturing setting.
I live in a four bedroom detatched house in the friendly village of Leven with my partner and three sons who are 18, 15 and 12. I have a fantastic playroom for young children to play and have fun in. I have a dining room where we eat meals and do arts and crafts and baking activities. The play room and dining room are linked by my kitchen which accommodates a sofa area where the children can enjoy a story or take part in the many varied tuff tray activities. The play room opens out on to my secure garden allowing our play to be taken out in to the fresh air at all times of the year. I also have a downstairs toilet which is totally child-friendly. I have created an environment which is warm and welcoming to children and parents. Children come first in my home and therefore it is organised to allow them the maximum space to play. all the toys and activities are easily accessible to the children allowing them total independance in their choices.
