If you are struggling with figuring out your identity, questioning your sexuality or perhaps not feeling at your best it is important to seek help and support to help you deal with and manage your feelings.

LGBT Foundation have a range of services designed for young people - we’re always here to help and there are many different ways that you can contact us, you can get support via our telephone helpline, email, counsiling or by dropping into our building for 1-1 support through our pop-in service. There is something for everyone!

Counselling:
People of all ages consider counselling for a variety of reasons, such as coming out, questioning or struggling to accept their sexuality, experiencing problems in their relationship or feeling anxious or depressed. We offer:

FACE TO FACE COUNSELLING SESSIONS
Our Face-to-Face counselling service offers short term counselling of between six to twelve sessions.

TELEPHONE COUNSELLING
This is a free service and you will be offered 8 sessions lasting 40 minutes each with a qualified counsellor, these are likely to take place weekly at a time that suits you. This service is ideal for anyone who is unable to come to LGBT Foundation for face-to-face counselling or those who would feel more comfortable accessing the service over the phone

Helpline and Email Advice:
If you would like to talk through a problem or a worry with someone, you can speak to a member of our team at any time between 10am -10pm on 0345 3 30 30 30 (charged at local call rate) alternatively you can email helpline@lgbt.foundation and one of our team will respond to you within 72 hours. All emails are confidential.
