Contract: 28 hours per week Monday to Thursday 8.30am-3.30pm Term time, additional hours may be required for training and meetings.
we are looking for a Level 3 qualified Early Years Practitioner to join our playgroup in Hutton Cranswick. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a warm and friendly Playgroup.
You will be responsible for:
•Providing a high standard of physical, emotional, social and education for children in the setting.
•Building and maintaining strong partnerships with parents to enable children’s needs are met.
•To keep records of your key children’s development and learning journeys and share with parents, carers, and other key adults in the child’s life.
•health, safety, and well-being of all children in your care, and following safeguarding policies and procedures.
•working alongside the manager and staff team to ensure that the setting ethos is fulfilled.
The successful candidate will need:
•A Level 3 Childcare qualification/NNEB, NVQ, CACHE LEVEL 3 childcare Qualification,
•Experience in a Lead role
•Knowledge of EYFS and Child Development
•Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
•Previous experience working in a nursery.
•2 years experience of working within a setting.
•SENCO training and experience desirable but not essential.
