My name is Hayley Brimble, I’m 29 years old and live in Goole with my husband Iain and 2 children Olivia {4) and Lewis (3) we also have a one year old Labrador dog called Honey. Prior to completing my childminding training, I worked as a support worker in a day care setting providing various sessions for adults with special educational needs, Although I thoroughly enjoyed my time as a support worker after having my own children I began to gain an interest in learning all about child development and so this year i decided to start my own childminding business. I have currently completed the following training:
Level 3 award in paediatric first aid
Understanding and working with the EYFS
Recording children’s development
Safeguarding children
Developing children’s learning
Leading and managing a childcare setting.
Fire Training
Autism spectrum disorders
Managing challenging behaviour
Epilepsy awareness
My aim as a childminder is to provide a safe and stimulating environment which gives the children the opportunity to learn and grow using a person-centred approach to recognise and meet each individual child’s needs. I have an exceptional play room which caters for children of all ages and with different interests offering hours of fun filled activities. The children will also be given access to the outdoor play equipment and regularly taken on outings within the local community
Drinks will always be accessible and Healthy snacks will be offered throughout the day.
