I have been working in childcare for over 25 years, during which I have seen many changes and continually adapted my practice to provide the best possible care and learning environment for children.
I believe children learn best though hand-on exploration alongside playing.
I like to follow an outdoor and forest school approach, where nature is our classroom.
Whether it’s:
• Splashing in puddles on a woodland walk.
• Planting seeds and watching them grow.
• Building imagination at the beach hut.
• Discovering bugs, leaves, and seasonal changes
… every day is an opportunity to learn, create and have fun in the fresh air.
Outdoor learning helps children build confidence, resilience, also a life long love of nature – all while having fun!
