Forces Connect App

The East Riding of Yorkshire Council has recently partnered with the Forces Connect app, to help support members of the local Armed Forces Community and their families.

The app aims to produce an easy to use comprehensive directory of contacts and information in specific areas, for those seeking help or support.

Services covered include:
• Crisis Support
• Employment, Education & Training
• Family Support, Care & Benefits
• Health & Wellbeing
• Housing & Homelessness

The app can be downloaded for free via the Google Play or Apple App Stores today.

Mental health support for children from military families

The Ministry of Defence has joined forces with Kooth, a leading provider of online mental health and wellbeing support to give children of military families free access to this important service.

Over 70 young people with family members in the military have already accessed the service at https://www.kooth.com/mod
