12 Hour Paediatric First Aid Courses

The course must be accredited as a 12 hour Paediatric First Aid, it can be a blended course of 6 hours on line and 6 hours face to face. Ofsted will not accept a 12 hour online course.

The course must include:

• Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (Adult, Child and Baby)
• The respiratory system
• Choking and care of the airway (Adult, Child and Baby)
• Care of the unconscious child
• The circulatory system
• Communication & delegation in an emergency
• Dealing with other common childhood medical conditions
• Control of bleeding
• Treatment of burns & scalds

This Bespoke free course is delivered on a one-to-one basis either face to face or via Microsoft Teams, at a time to suit you. It covers everything you need to start the journey to become registered, it sits alongside courses in Safeguarding and the Role of the Special Educational Needs coordinator. As well as the training you will receive support from an Early Years Development Advisor to guide you through the process.
